NAME IS MAX
Hello, my name is Max Sørensen, I was born
and have lived in Denmark for the first 13 years of my life. Later in 2003 I moved together with my parents to the green heart of Italy, Umbria, where we opened a holiday residence.

When I was a child, my mum worked as a photographer, and growing up I was always intrigued by the sector she worked in. So after finishing high school in 2010 I bought my first camera, a compact and inexpensive Nikon
to take with me on a trip around world.
A few months after I graduated from high school I embarked on
an adventure lasting more than 2 years, that began in Australia.
During my 2 years working and traveling around Australia, I
was able to give full rein to my passion for photography.
Wherever I could, I had my camera with me, for the fear of missing out
on an important shot, and repenting it later: from Sydney's top attractions,
to Melbourne's markets, Perth's parks, Darwin's nature,
the Brisbane floods of 2011, and even diving the coral reef or
parachuting above Mission Beach; my little Nikon was always there with me.
After over 2 years of photographing Australia and parts of South East Asia,
I returned back to my parents' holiday residence in the Umbria.
Once back in Italy, having worked for short periods in numerous sectors
all around Australia, it was time to look for a more permanent job.
I was lucky enough to find a job at a real estate agency, starting
as an assistant, but quickly merging in to the role of a photographer.
Over the years the real estate market changed, and the few agencies
that had drone videos of their properties we very sought-after.
So through the real estate agency I obtained a drone license.
Thanks to the numerous videos processed during work-hours, and the various training courses in video editing, I had once again broadened my skillset.
Begining with the passion for photography from an early age,
and later advancing to having a full time job as a photographer;
the last important step on this path was to open my own company.
So after about 4 years working for the real estate agency, I left my possition
having acquired a significant amount of hands-on experience through the years.
I opened my company in 2020, with the aim of providing my services as a photographer to anyone in need across Umbria & Tuscany.
